Bryoney is a British craft designer maker, predominantly creating cut paper artworks and sculptures.
After studying Textile Craft at the University of Huddersfield, where she graduated with first class honours, Bryoney set up Bryoney Fawn to distribute her art to galleries and individuals, and to produce commissioned works for installations and events.
A born wanderer and explorer, much of her inspiration is drawn from her adventures and discoveries whilst travelling the UK and Europe.
Bryoney regularly exhibits her art at craft galleries, shows, events and shops across the UK and is currently busy developing new techniques in lasercutting for fine art.
For commissions and bespoke arkwork, please contact Bryoney here.
Fresh and dried foliage, vintage textiles, photographs and cartography are some of the items which contribute inspiration to Bryoney's unique style. Her work starts life as drawings from items collected while exploring the British culture and countryside.
Her sketches are traced to a computer and laser cut onto high-quality papers allowing Bryoney to include fine detail which would be almost impossible to cut by hand! The organic lines of the illustrations are retained, giving the cut pieces a natural feel.
These pieces are then hand finished (for the parts that a laser cutter can't do!) with watercolour, stitching and mark making.
Each delicate piece is then pinned into place to make use of light and shadow, and framed in hand-built, hardwood frames ready to adorn your home, office or studio.
Bryoney's art is available to view and buy in select galleries and shops across the UK. We are currently expanding our list of stockists so keep an eye out for new work arriving in galleries near you.
If you can't get to a gallery, or there isn't a stockist near you yet, Bryoney sells online at shop.bryoneyfawn.com where all her designs can be ordered for delivery to you.
If you would like a bespoke or customised piece, or are interested in stocking Bryoney's art in your gallery or shop, please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
